Manifesting Money

7 Steps to creating financial abundance

Are you finding it difficult to manifest money?

Do you feel like you’ve attempted to use practically every existing method, including guided visualization, positive affirmations, feeling grateful, etc.?

But you’re just not achieving anything?

If this sounds familiar, you may have some obstacles on your road to abundance.  Let’s call them rich roadblocks.

But you’re in the right place! This article will help you identify your personal rich roadblocks and how you can move them out of your path!

Why do i have rich roadblocks and what are they?

Rich roadblocks are obstacles that exist in your mind and are related to how you think and feel about financial matters.

They can be like putting a cork in a bottle. These obstacles stop the feelings and manifestation beliefs from flowing out into the Universe, which is the only way they will become real.

The reason these rich roadblocks exist is due to how we are brought up. From being born up to about the age of 7, our belief system is constructed and shaped by our parents, family, teachers, etc. We naturally and passively adopt many beliefs that our parents have. We are also actively programmed by them to hold particular values about things such as right or wrong, work ethic, feelings towards finances, etc.

We can learn new beliefs when we are older than 7, and of course, we do sometimes grow older and change the beliefs that were programmed into us as children. But the older we get, the more effort it takes for us to change our belief system or take on new ones.

Our belief system is a fundamental part of our identity. It drives our behavior, thoughts, feelings, everything!

How we think and act today has been defined by our lives; we have been influenced by our environments and the people in them (social factors).

We first learn about money and have some idea about what it is when we are very young. An issue can arise if we are exposed to our parents’ negative or limiting beliefs because they have their own rich roadblocks.

Imagine that your parents were always concerned about money. Every month there were problems because there never seemed to be enough, and they were always arguing about running out of money. You were not allowed to have some things that other children had and rarely received any pocket money.

You learned from your parents that money was something to worry and stress about. You realized that it was very important and, if you didn’t have enough, it could make you upset and angry.

The way your parents spoke and acted about money left its mark on you – whether you’ve been aware of that until now or not. And you will have developed your own rich roadblocks.

It’s quite usual for people to think that there is not enough money globally and to feel a sense of lack when they consider money.

However, when it comes to the Law of Attraction, this belief can be dangerous because it gives you more of what you focus on. It’s like taking a photo of what’s in your mind and making lots of copies of it. If you’re concentrating on a lack of money, that’s what you will end up with.

Let me reassure you of one thing before we continue.

You’re not to blame for your rich roadblocks. And neither are your parents!

It is not helpful for you to feel upset or angry towards them. This would only do you more harm.

The most important thing to do is liberate yourself from any negative feelings around this situation so you can move on.

We’ll look at this in more detail shortly, but first, let’s take a look at what your specific obstacles might be.

Frequent rich roadblocks

If you find it difficult to attract financial abundance, you have probably developed some rich roadblocks during your past, which are getting in the way.

You may not even be aware of this because these barriers tend to influence you subconsciously.

We are going to take a look at the rich roadblocks that people report most frequently. See which of these, if any, you identify with.

“I will never escape from this debt.”

“I cannot be content or satisfied without money.”

“You need to spend money to make money – it’s impossible.”

“I’m going to lose my relationships because I don’t have enough money.”

“My life is a disaster because of my financial situation.”

Defending debt
“The more money you have, the more issues you have.”

“Money doesn’t bring happiness.”

“It’s better to give than to receive.”

“Being rich only happens to hard-workers who prioritize money over everything.”

“If I am financially abundant, my family and friends might say I’m greedy.”

Derogatory Opinions

“Everyone who is rich is arrogant and pretentious. I’m not one of those people”.

“Wealthy people should share their money out more. If they gave more of their wealth away, there wouldn’t be so many problems.”

“Money is the epitome of evil – it leads to wars, poverty, and death.”

“It’s immoral that things are so expensive. Why would someone spend $100,000 on a car when there are starving people in the world?”

Some of these rich roadblocks originate from feeling that money is out of reach. It’s an impossible dream that is unattainable for us. Others come from justifying our current situation to make ourselves feel better or from our negative perceptions about wealth (and wealthy people).

We have to aim for a more positive belief system that gets us back into alignment. From here, we can think about abundance from a place of respect, rather than one of the more extreme views above.

This is all very easy to say, but it can be a challenge when the rich roadblocks pop up in your path. However, if you now know what your barriers are, let’s look at seven things you can do to get rid of them – forever!

1.) Connect with positive money-minded people

Our time is one of the most precious things we have, and we are in control of how we spend it. This includes what we do and who we spend it with.

Our social interactions and conversations with people aren’t the only ways we take in information and energy. We absorb an incredible amount of input every day, and this can come from the things we read, the music we listen to, the tv or movies we watch, etc. We are even influenced by the food and drink we choose.

We internalize the information that we have absorbed during our experiences, and it is added to our being.

When it comes to energy and positive vibrations, these can feel magnified if you experience them in a group. “Surround yourself with people with similar goals and ambitions.”

There is a concept known as group consciousness. This occurs when a number of people go through an event together or have matching experiences and then work together to attract the desired result.

It’s very effective and can really boost your manifestation power!

A great working example of this relates to Napoleon Hill’s book, ‘Think and Grow Rich.’ Published in 1937, it has sold over 120 million copies worldwide and is ranked as the sixth best-selling paperback ever! The reason for its success is the phenomenal amount of people who state that their lives have been transformed after reading it.

Even when you don’t consider the incredible popularity of the book, it is a true gem. But the interesting thing about it is that you become part of an elusive club when you read it and discover its secrets.

You join a group of like-minded people who are focused on positive energy and manifesting prosperity. Your vibration unites with the collective energy, so your powers to attract abundance become greatly magnified.

Take some time to consider the input you have each day. What type of people do you socialize with? Do they have a similar vibrational energy to you, or do they bring yours down?

The best way to keep your energy aligned with your goal of manifesting financial abundance is to connect with people who have a healthy, balanced and positive approach to money. You can also specifically focus on the most beneficial input for you. For example, seek out books or YouTube videos made by people who promote the right mindset.

If you immerse yourself in this money-motivated energy, you will transform everything!

2.) Log the money you attract

By keeping track of every last dollar, that you manifest, you reinforce and confirm your ability to attract money, and it also maintains your energy aligned to abundance.

This is effective is because rather than only noticing what you lack, you concentrate more on what is coming to you, even if it is small amounts, to begin with.

Sometimes we are so fixated with how little money we have; we don’t see the little miracles that are frequently happening.

From now on, each time that you attract a financial gain, make a note of it. This can be as obvious as if you receive money from someone, but it can also be smaller, less obvious things such as someone else buying your coffee, so you have saved some money. It all adds up!

Write the date, the amount of money, and a summary about how it manifested. It’s also a good idea to note down your emotions and gratitude because the higher you raise your positive vibration towards money, the more you will attract.

Whenever you feel uncertain or have any worries about finances, you can have a quick look at your money notebook and reassure yourself that your manifestations are working!

Just wait and see – I promise you you’ll be amazed by how much money you attract!

3.) Reprogram your beliefs

It’s possible to reprogram your belief system, which means that you can forever get rid of your rich roadblocks!

Essentially it’s like rebooting your subconscious mind and sending any unhelpful beliefs to the recycling bin because they no longer serve you, and they’re keeping you trapped in a state of lack. You can then upload new, more positive beliefs about money that will set you on a roadblock-free path to financial abundance.

Hypnosis is probably the most common method that people who wish to develop their mindset use to reprogram their belief systems.

It’s a straightforward process whereby a qualified hypnotherapist induces a trance state in you, meaning that they can penetrate the conscious mind and access the subconscious. It’s in your subconscious where the limiting, out-date beliefs around money are stored.

As you’re in this receptive state, the hypnotherapist will speak directly to the subconscious, reciting positive affirmations that will become embedded and form the basis of your new belief system.

Hypnosis can be used to change your beliefs around anything, not just about money. But in this case, your roadblocks will disappear, and you will have a more balanced, positive mindset around money, which will allow you to manifest it easily!

If you visit a hypnotherapist, it’s important that they know what they are doing and that they are qualified. However, there are also online options so you can access hypnotherapy from the comfort of your own home.

I would recommend Total Money Magnetism because I have had some fantastic outcomes with it myself. The online program was developed by Dr. Steve G Jones, who has over 15 years of experience as a wealth coach and NLP practitioner. He is known globally as a clinical hypnotherapist, and some of his famous clients pay $25,000 per session!

Total Money Magnetism is open to anyone, and it focuses on eradicating obstacles to financial abundance and building a millionaire mindset. The hypnosis tracks are excellent, and as I said, I can vouch that it definitely works! To find out more, visit

4.) Get playful

I want to tell you about a game that I came across in the book ‘Ask and It Is Given’ by Abraham Hicks.

It’s called the Wallet Game and is very simple to play.

To begin, put a $100 note in your wallet or purse. Whenever you see something that you want to purchase, follow these steps:

  • Imagine that you’re going to buy the item using the $100 bill.
  • Shut your eyes and visualize yourself going to the place where the item is sold.
  • Imagine touching it, holding it, and feeling the weight of it in your hands.
  • Know that you can afford this item and that you are going to buy it.
  • Feel the positive feelings build up inside you.
  • Excitement is rising, and you feel so grateful that you can buy this item.
  • Open your eyes and open your wallet.
  • Look at the $100 note like you have never seen it before.

This game eradicates your rich roadblocks because it builds the belief inside you that you have financial abundance. No matter what the item, with this game, you can imagine yourself buying it, experiencing how exciting that would feel, and reinforcing the affirmation of, “I have money to buy whatever I want.”

This fools your subconscious into believing that you can purchase anything and will always have an abundance of money. This is a great mindset to nurture as you will attract more and more.

Have fun and play this game regularly. It may feel a bit strange at first because your rich roadblocks may jump in your way, making you think, “But I can’t afford this item.” Just ignore them and play the wallet game. It will get easier to imagine yourself with the money, which will break down the roadblocks and bring abundance to you!

5.) Show charity

When we are worried about a lack of money, we cling on to what we have for fear of losing it and ending up with nothing. This in itself can be one of your biggest roadblocks!

A guaranteed way to break it down is by showing charity to someone who has less than you or being kind and generous to someone who deserves it.

For example, you might give money to a charitable organization or someone living on the streets. You may buy lunch for a friend who is going through a difficult time or reward excellent customer service with a large tip!

Kindness and good fortune manifest via the Universe in many ways. If you become one of those ways for other people, you become more aligned to the Universe and receptive to money flowing towards you instead of through you.

By reviving another person’s trust in humankind, you can’t help but revive your own.

6.) Use the mirror method

I first discovered this technique in a book by Claude Bristol called ‘The Magic of Believing.’

Again, it’s a very straightforward method that you can easily follow. This is what you need to do:

  • Go somewhere quiet where you will not be interrupted.
  • Place yourself in front of a mirror.
  • Begin with spending a few minutes gazing straight into your eyes.
  • Recite a positive financial abundance script or affirmation (example below).
  • Do this a minimum of once a day.

It’s your choice whether you want to repeat a short affirmation or say a fuller passage on abundance. This is the one that I use, and you can change it by adding your details.

“I adore you! I am in awe of the person you have turned into. You are living an amazing life full of financial abundance, and you are free! Your mindset is focused on the positives, and everyone in your life thinks you’re amazing. You accomplish every target that you aim for, and you attract large amounts of money daily. Your job is perfect for you. You are passionate about what you do, and there are unlimited possibilities for you to develop and grow in your career. I am so proud of you and everything that you do.”

Let me assure you that the mirror method is like using supercharged affirmations!

When you talk to yourself in a mirror, your subconscious very quickly feels at ease and can trust what you’re saying. It has no resistance because there are no barriers or worries.

In this mental state, when you say the affirmation or script, it goes straight to the core of your belief system.

With time and persistence, this method can be really effective at getting rid of any worries or negative self-judgments that may be acting as obstacles to you attracting money. Additionally, you will reprogram those limiting beliefs, swapping them for more empowering ones. Watch the money start to flow to you!

7.) Mind what you say

The words you choose when you speak about money are really important. It’s vital to become more conscious of the language that you use.

For example, saying things like “I don’t have enough money” might feel like you’re being genuine and honest, and in the beginning, it doesn’t seem too bad. But just think about how many times you might say it over a few weeks or months.

“I don’t have enough money.”
“I don’t have enough money.”

“I don’t have enough money.”

With enough repetition, this phrase becomes a negative affirmation that runs on a loop in your subconscious mind. Once it’s stuck in there, it can convert into a belief, and then it’s no longer harmless. The Law of Attraction starts to create more situations where that phrase is true and becomes a massive rich roadblock.

Begin to notice your own language (internal and external). If it’s not going to serve you well, try to change it and reframe it for something better.

Imagine that your friend has invited you for a night out. Rather than responding with, “I’m sorry, I really don’t have enough money to go out tonight,” you could say, “A night out doesn’t fit with me at the moment. I would love to go out another night, though.”

Can you feel the difference between these two approaches?

Your words are very powerful and can create or destroy barriers to financial abundance, so mind what you say!
