1.) What’s Your Excuse?

Each of us has an excuse (or perhaps even several) that we tell ourselves is the reason why we are not living our lives to our fullest potential. 

The issue with this is that our subconscious mind doesn’t know that this is an excuse we’ve created, and it considers it a fact. So what can start as a way to try and make your future self feel better can turn into a barrier that blocks you from what you really want to achieve. 

Here is a list of some of the excuses that people tell themselves to justify the fact that they are overweight, which subsequently turn into limiting beliefs:

  • Being overweight is a family trait. 
  • My metabolism is slow, so I will always be fat. 
  • I’m naturally big-boned.
  • It costs too much to buy healthy food. 
  • I don’t have time to exercise, so I can’t lose weight. 

The more often you tell yourself myths like these, the truer and more fixed they become in your subconscious mind

It’s these myths that have stopped you from becoming who you want to be and getting the figure that you dream of. But you don’t have to keep repeating them to your future self or believe them any longer! 

It’s your choice to decide who you are and what type of life you want to live. 

Take some time to think about what excuses you have had swimming around in your head. 

When you know what they are, turn them on their heads. Say the reverse, and keep repeating it until it becomes true to your subconscious mind. 

So, for instance, if you have always said to yourself that you are naturally big-boned and therefore will always be fat, state the opposite of this as you manifest weight loss. 

“I am naturally slim and toned.” 

To create your ideal body, you have to start with your thoughts. You become what you think about, so program your subconscious mind with slim people’s thoughts. 

2.) Stop Feeling Guilty and Ashamed!

Unfortunately, today’s society has created the idea of a particular physical body shape, and there is an overwhelming pressure to adhere to this or feel ashamed or guilty about being different. 

There is a general assumption that someone has no self-control and is really inactive if they are overweight.

This is a really ugly side to society that can do a lot of damage to many of its members. 

And at the end of the day, it’s totally unfair to make that kind of judgment about people simply based on their weight and physical appearance.

Some people are severely affected by this and strive to try and achieve society’s ‘norm.’ Some people push themselves to the extreme, starving themselves or exercising obsessively, putting themselves physically and mentally under tremendous pressure. 

There are higher numbers than ever of people suffering from depression and anxiety, not to mention eating disorders, due to this constant societal message that you have to look a certain way. 

It breaks my heart when I see yet another story about someone who has killed themselves or is seriously ill because they became anorexic to try and adhere to the ‘perfect body shape.’ 

How can there be a general assumption that overweight people have no self-control? I know loads of thin people who are constantly eating! I’m sure you also know people who proudly declare that they can eat anything they like and they never put weight on – plus they don’t do any exercise! 

There are no associated feelings of guilt or feeling ashamed when they say that. Nor is there any judgment from society, but image if an overweight person said it! 

And in the meantime, all the people trying desperately to lose weight are being judged as being lazy and having no willpower! Where’s the logic? 

Now, I’m not deliberately disrespecting people who have been fortunate to be born slim, but my point is that body size is not as simple as who has self-control or not. 

For example, comfort eating is something that many people do, regardless of their body shape. 

It’s just a bit more obvious in some people than others. 

Comfort eating happens when people are upset by something, so they feel an urge to eat to fill the emptiness or discomfort they are feeling. 

If you’ve done it, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. 

At the time, it seems like the only thing that will make the pain go away. However, afterward, we feel guilty, ashamed, and embarrassed about what we have done. When we are being rational, we know that it’s not good for us to overeat unhealthy food, but it’s like an anesthetic at the time. 

Then, the guilt and shame that follow are also really harmful and damaging to our self-esteem, motivation, and vibrational frequency. 

Comfort eating is an ideal way of demonstrating the Law of Attraction. 

You experience emotional pain or upset, so you eat in response to this. 

It feels good for a few moments, but then you feel overwhelmed by negative emotions.

These limiting beliefs and emotions such as guilt and shame mean that you give out a low vibration to the Universe.

In response to this, the Universe gives you more of what you’re thinking about – pain, limiting your manifesting weight loss journey.  

So you get stuck in a loop of negativity and being unable to lose weight. 

The key to stopping yourself from feeling guilty about not having the perfect body right at this moment is to change the way you think and how you act. You need to switch your mind and thoughts to ones you would have if you had your ideal physique.  

For example, imagine that you have the figure that you want. You are slim, fit, and toned. 

How would you feel about food? Do you think you’d feel guilty about having that chocolate brownie? 

3.) Put Pen to Paper

There is a really effective manifest weight loss method called scripting that is excellent for helping you understand how your life will be when you have the figure you want. 

Scripting is a journaling technique where you write diary entries as if your life and body are exactly as you want them. 

For example, when I woke up this morning, I had so much energy and couldn’t wait to start my day! I had a shower, and as I was drying myself, I looked in the bathroom mirror. I look amazing! I am slim, fit, and toned – I am in the best shape of my life!

I went to the beach to walk my two dogs. I took a ball, and we played for a while – they have so much energy, but so do I now, so we had a lot of fun! 

When we got home, I prepared myself a tasty breakfast and decided what to wear. As I was feeling so great, I opted for a dress that I had never worn to work before. It is a bit more fitted to my figure than I usually wear, but it had an amazing effect! 

The cute new guy told me that I looked fantastic and he invited me out for drinks and dinner next week! It’s been an incredible day! 

When you write your scripted journal entries, be as detailed and clear as you can. The more description you write, the easier your subconscious mind will be able to convert your scripts into images. 

It may be helpful to consider things such as:

  • What style of clothes will I wear when I am at my ideal weight?
  • How will I feel when I have my perfect body?
  • How will my life be different?
  • How will I talk, think, and act when I have the physique of my dreams?
  • What food will I love to eat, and what kind of things will I like doing?
4.) Use Weight Loss Affirmations Regularly

Another great way be able to say you manifested weight loss is to include some positive and weight loss affirmations into your manifesting weight loss routine. 

Weight loss affirmations are positively worded short sentences that are written as if they are already true. You can repeat them as often as you want, turning them into your own, private, positive mantra. 

You can say them out loud when driving to work, or you could record yourself saying your weight loss affirmations and listen to them on a loop whenever you have a quiet moment. 

Weight loss affirmations can also be used as part of a meditation session, or you can say them to yourself just before you go to sleep. 

Another great way to use positive affirmations, particularly when you want to lose weight, is to say them to yourself when you are looking in a mirror. 

When you say the weight loss affirmations, believe that they are true. Fill them full of positive energy, confidence, and notice as they make you feel empowered. Saying positive affirmations first thing in the morning is great because they will raise your vibrational frequency and set you up for a great day.

Below are some weight loss affirmations and positive affirmations that you can use to feel more confident and positive about your body. You can either say them as they are or change them to make them more personal. 

  • My body is perfect.
  • I have lots of positive energy, and I am healthy.
  • My physique is fit and toned.
  • I am thankful for my body and everything I can do. 
  • I love myself and my body more each day.
  • I am confident in my own skin.
  • I feel more confident and worthy with every minute. 

5.) Show Yourself Some Self-Love to to Manifest Weight Loss

If you understand the Law of Attraction and manifesting weight loss, you know that you get more of what you focus on. So it’s impossible to manifest weight loss if you are obsessively thinking about how fat you are and how much you hate your body. That will only bring more limiting beliefs, thoughts and emotions that will mean you emit low energy into the Universe. The response you will receive will be more situations that make you feel terrible about yourself.

There are a number of ways you can demonstrate that you love yourself and accept your body to manifest weight loss, including:

  • Give yourself regular compliments.
  • Pamper yourself by applying a vitamin-rich body lotion.
  • Indulge in a spa day or spoil yourself by having a massage. 
  • Appreciate your own natural, unique beauty. 
  • Choose clothes that enhance and show off the best parts of your body. 
  • If you have particular parts of your body that you wish to change, direct feelings of love to them rather than self-loathing. 

The best way to do this last point is to use Ho’oponopono. It is an excellent way to heal yourself by saying a short prayer. The ancient technique was developed in Hawaii and can be used to heal yourself or others. It works on forgiveness, so it is really useful for eradicating the negative self-talk that you might have towards your body. 

There are four simple parts that you can say in whichever order you wish. 

I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you. 

The next time you notice that you have some limiting beliefs towards yourself, take a few moments to go through the Ho’oponopono prayer and show yourself some love instead. 

6.) Notice the Effects of Different Foods

While our thoughts are really important when it comes to how we experience life, our feelings and actions play vital parts too. 

For this reason, I highly recommend that you pay attention to how your body reacts when you eat a variety of food. You will have some physical reactions, and some will be more psychological or emotional. It may help to note these down so you can keep track of them easier. 

For example, you may start to realize that every time you eat a specific thing, it leaves you feeling uncomfortably bloated or irritated. These reactions are messages from your body that this particular food is not helping you achieve your goals. 

The concept behind this point is to become more aware of your relationship with food and to make more conscious choices for the good of your body. 

It’s not about being on a strict diet, but considering the impact food has on your whole body, not just if it tastes good. Is the short-term benefit of something tasting delicious worth the longer-term effects of feeling lethargic, guilty, and perhaps even suffering from painful stomach cramps? Of course, your body does not want to deprive you of your favorite foods, but it wants to tell you what healthy foods are good for you – if you are willing to listen. 

You will soon find that you are naturally choosing healthy foods that don’t cause you any adverse reactions, and that will get you to your goal much faster than those you used to eat. 

When you pay attention to your mind and body, you will enjoy food much more as you will have got rid of feelings of guilt or negativity and avoid physical reactions.  

7.) Use Your Imagination to Manifest Weight Loss

One of the best ways we can boost our manifestations and manifest weight loss, and I mentioned it earlier in the scripting section, is through using visualization or a vision board. 

When you can imagine yourself living the life you want in the body you want, it is much easier for the subconscious mind to accept it as your new reality. 

There are lots of ways you can use visualization to manifest weight loss, but if you are new to it, then I suggest keeping it simple. 

If it sounds a bit daunting, you can always think about it as being daydreaming. Each day, spend a few minutes imagining the following things:

  • What you will look like when you have your ideal body.
  • What style of clothes you will wear. 
  • How you will feel and act around other people. 
  • What you will be able to do and enjoy that you don’t currently do.
  • How else your life will change when you feel confident and self-assured. 

Relax and spend time visualizing your new life. Just let it happen naturally. To manifest weight loss will become easier to do over time if you find it difficult to start with. Don’t force it or become stressed if you feel that you can’t do it. 

You can simply concentrate on how you will feel when you have the body of your dreams. 

This reality is on its way to you – it’s time to get excited! 

Spend the rest of the day emitting those positive emotions to the Universe as it is busy working on your weight loss manifestation. 

8.) Love What You Do and Create Positive Change! 

To live the life of a slim, fit, and healthy person who has an amazingly toned body is going to involve some exercise and level of activity. 

If you’ve never tried to lose weight before or have and absolutely hated going to the gym, my previous sentence may have brought a wave of panic over you. 

Perhaps you have lost weight loads of times, pushing yourself to the limits, but within a few months, you find you’re back at your starting weight – or maybe even heavier. 

It feels so unfair! 

And when it comes to achieving your goals naturally, it shouldn’t be that difficult or painful to create positive change! 

When you are doing things that align with your purpose and objectives, you will enjoy doing them!

You will feel happy and motivated to manifest weight loss, rather than obliged. 

How do you know when what you’re doing is aligned with your goals? 

Well, allow yourself to follow the guidance of the Universe. Nothing should feel like a difficult task, and if it does, pay attention to the signals that come your way because the Universe will show you a simpler way. 

Have you ever noticed these messages before? For example, perhaps you were doing a task that you didn’t have to think about much, and you suddenly had an amazing idea that sprung into your mind out of the blue! 

This flash of inspiration comes directly to you from the Universe and indicates which steps you should take next. Other types of signals may come in the form of visual things that you notice that relate to your end goal or seeing synchronicity in numbers, e.g., noticing when it’s 11:11. 

Of course, you don’t have to follow these signals, but you should know that the Universe will give you more of them when you do.  

You will be able to feel it when you are taking the right steps towards your goal. You will be excited by what you do, and it will fill you full of energy. It won’t feel like a chore or something that you have to force yourself to do. 

So, when it comes to adding more activity into your life, consider how you can have fun with it. If you love it, it won’t ever feel like a hardship. 

If you’re not a fan of the treadmill, try a dance class. Or maybe pilates will become your new favorite hobby. You could even offer to walk an elderly neighbor’s dog on a regular basis if you’re a dog lover and can see that they have difficulties. 

There are loads of ways that you can add more exercise and physical activity into your life that don’t have to feel like a punishing exercise regime.

When you do something fun that you really enjoy doing, you will raise your vibration, and manifesting your ideal body will happen quickly and effortlessly. 

9.) Enjoy Your Physical Form

When we use the Law of Attraction to manifest weight loss what we want and practice techniques such as meditation, scripting, visualization, etc., to raise our vibrations, we are opening up a channel of communication between us and our higher selves. 

In this way, our attention can sometimes become more focused on the signals we receive from the Universe and the intuitive guidance we get from our higher selves that we forget ourselves in the here and now. 

Many people within spiritual and new age societies wrongly focus on the belief that our purpose is to connect with our spirituality and explore our links outside of this physical world. 

This implies that our physical bodies and connection with the earth and other human beings is less important than connecting with our higher selves and the Universe. 

Regrettably, for many people, this blocks them from achieving their potential. We exist on this planet in a physical form for a reason. We are here to experience full immersion and learn everything we can about what it means to be a living, breathing complex human being. 

We are supposed to go through good times and bad times, learn from our mistakes, and develop our characters and personalities as we go through our physical lives.  

Not paying enough attention to our body is generally the reason that we have problems with weight gain. 

It’s your body’s way of trying to get you to notice it. As if it were saying, “Hello! Have you forgotten about me? Don’t forget that we are here for a reason!”

Relish your physical form. Be thankful that you have this opportunity to live in the body you have and experience all of the amazing things that occur daily. 

You can nurture your soul and connect with your higher self, but it’s essential not to forget about your body, as without it being in good health, your current journey will be cut short. 

10.) Praise progress on your lost weight

As you lose weight, make sure you recognize and honor each lost weight event along the way. These events can be whatever you choose. It might be that you can once again fit into your favorite outfit, or perhaps you have dropped a few digits on the weighing scales. 

The more you celebrate and raise your vibrations as you feel positive about your weight loss as you manifest weight loss, the more significant milestones you will create that you can mark! 

Every step along the way is important in the journey of life. 

If there was a magic spell you could say this evening and wake up in the morning with your ideal figure, would you be able to keep it that way? 

Would you know how to maintain that weight and shape?

Would you be as thankful for it as you will when you have achieved it yourself?

Would you have discovered anything about yourself that could help you keep the weight off forever?
