I’m going to tell you about 14 powerful manifestation methods that will turn your life around!
OK – we’ve got a lot to get through, so let’s get started!
1.) 17 Second Rule
Let’s start with the quickest manifestation method that exists!
Even if you are a really busy person, do you think you could find 17 seconds each day?
Abraham Hicks says that the Law of Attraction is activated after only 17 seconds of concentration on one pure thought and calls it the ‘combustion point.’
While this sounds really easy, it does take a bit of practice because we often have other random thoughts that constantly pop into our minds.
But, as with anything, the more you do it, the easier it will become.
You could add this into your daily routine before you even get out of bed or just before going to sleep each evening. Choose a positive thought that you want to focus on – or it could be a specific affirmation. I will explain more about affirmations in the next method if you’re not sure what they are.
It’s good to choose a place and a time where you will not be interrupted or distracted. You can set a timer to count the 17 seconds and start again if any random thoughts break your concentration.
The main thing is to focus all of your energy on the thought, imagining how amazing it will be to have exactly what you want to manifest.
If you want to intensify this method, you can do it for another 17 seconds (=34), then a third (=51), and a fourth time – up to 68 seconds.
The more often you do this, and if you continue it for a minimum of 21 days, the more powerful the method will become.
2.) Use Powerful Affirmations
“If we become one-tenth as good at positive self-talk as we are at negative self-talk, we will notice an enormous change.” – Julia Cameron
I mentioned them earlier, and I’m sure that most of you already know this, but for those of you who are new to manifesting, affirmations are short, positively worded sentences. You can repeat them like mantras, and you use them to set your intention to the Universe, being really clear about what you want to manifest. When you repeat them regularly and spend time focusing on them, it raises your vibrational frequency and makes you feel more positive.
The subconscious mind does not know whether or not an affirmation is true. It will assume that it is and will start to change. Your affirmations can become your positive self-talk in place of previously held limiting beliefs.
The things you want exist out in the Universe and vibrate on a high level, so you need to lift your vibration to align with your wish list.
There are a number of ways you can use powerful affirmations:
- You can repeat them out loud to yourself as a mantra.
- You can write them down repeatedly.
- You can think them over and over again.
- You can record yourself saying your mantras and listen to them on repeat.
Any positive, concise sentence can be an affirmation, but what makes an affirmation powerful is when it is loaded with beneficial emotions.
When you write your affirmations, think about what emotion that particular sentence generates within you. Feel the enthusiasm, the happiness, the sense of fulfillment, and overwhelming appreciation for what your life will be like.
Notice what happens in your body as you experience these strong, positive feelings.
Each time you recite your chosen affirmation/s, speak from your heart and supercharge them with all the emotion you can muster.
The message and vibration you send out into the Universe will be so powerful that it will get to work on your dreams straight away.
Here is a list of some affirmations you might want to try. You can write your own based on these, or choose the one that resonates the most with you:
- “Everything I want comes to me at the perfect time.”
- “The Universe provides me with everything I need.”
- “I attract money to me easily.”
- “I am worthy of love and respect from everyone.”
- “I deserve to be highly financially rewarded for my hard work.”
- “I am successful in everything I do.”
- “The Universe is always guiding me.”
- “I have everything within me to achieve all of my goals.”
When writing your affirmations, remember to use the present tense and as if you already have the things that you want. The Universe and subconscious will do the rest and make it come true!
Linking on from affirmations that should be written as if you already have what you want, acting ‘as if’ you are living your dream life is also really powerful. In fact, it can be a total gamechanger and the difference between successful and unsuccessful manifestations.
The way you do it is simple. It’s like being a child and playing at being a doctor, astronaut, footballer, Rockstar, etc., – whatever you wanted to be when you were younger.
The theory behind it is that we don’t actually manifest what we want into our lives; we manifest more of what we are. So, the way that this method works is to act ‘as if’ you already have everything you want.
The Law of Attraction says that ‘like attracts like,’ so if you feel and act as though you’re a successful entrepreneur, that’s what you will become.
It’s also a lot of fun! Let your imagination run wild!
If you’re in a taxi, you can imagine you’re in your very own chauffeur-driven limousine.
If you buy some clothes in the sale, you can visualize that you’re buying designer clothes from a famous fashion boutique.
If you want to be an actor, you can imagine that you are being filmed as the lead role in a movie while you are doing your current job.
When you act ‘as if,’ your energy changes. Your vibration will lift to align with the person you long to be. And, as time goes on, that is who you will become.
4.) Create a Manifestation Box
A Manifestation Box is a divine container that you can use as a method to attract your desires by filling it full of energy.
To start with, you need to make or choose your box. It can be any type of receptacle. You could buy a specific one that calls to you when you are shopping, or you could make one from a shoebox, old jewelry box, or any other empty box.
The next step is to put things inside your container that represent what you want to manifest. You can use lots of different things, including written notes, images, affirmations.
Imagine it like you are creating a parcel to signify your wishes that you will send straight to the Universe. In turn, it will take all of that information and manifest it into your physical world!
One of the best things about this technique is that it helps you to let go.
Often, when people are trying to manifest, they can become a bit obsessed with when their desires are going to come true and then start having doubts about the process or begin to feel desperate. If this happens, then the energy changes, so rather than putting positive energy out into the Universe, it becomes negative. And what happens then? As I said earlier, ‘like attracts like,’ so they will attract things that make them feel more negative.
However, when you use your manifestation box, the ideal thing to do is to store it away, out of sight, once you have asked the Universe for what you want. Be confident that you have done your part, and have faith that the Universe will fulfill its side of the deal.
Some of the items you might want to put inside include:
- Images of what you want. These could be from magazines/brochures if you have something really specific in mind, for example, a specific car model.
- Gemstones that will increase the energy in the box. You can choose different crystals depending on what you want to manifest.
- Your powerful affirmations.
- Positive and motivational quotes.
- Scripts (I will explain a bit more about what scripting is soon).
- Things that have sentimental meaning and are important to you.
- Anything else that links to what you want to manifest.
I find that the best time to use the manifestation box method is when there is a new moon. Once I have filled it with all of my objects that signify what I wish to attract into my life, I place the box by the window until the next day so that it absorbs the energy of the new moon.
I love this particular method and have had some excellent success with it.
5.) The Movie Technique
This is a really simple and fun way to envisage what your life will be like when you have manifested everything you desire, but it takes away the challenge of trying to imagine it in your mind’s eye.
When you want to manifest using the Law of Attraction, being able to visualize is a fundamental part. The more you can imagine something, the stronger the pull is for your subconscious to believe it is real.
However, I don’t know about you, but I found this challenging in the beginning.
I knew what I wanted, but I found it hard to create specific visualizations. I couldn’t imagine all the details, and it worried me that it wouldn’t work properly if I couldn’t see everything, which stressed me out, and I didn’t look forward to visualizing. Needless to say, this caused a big barrier of resistance, so I didn’t have any success at all with manifesting what I wanted.
However, fortunately, I learned about the ‘Movie Technique,’ which made everything so much easier!
Basically, all you need to do is choose a film with a plot and a character that signifies you and what you want to manifest. You then watch the movie and imagine that you are that character.
Maybe you’re the person who trains really hard and wins the competition, or perhaps you’re the one who meets the love of their life in an unlikely place, and they live happily ever after!
You can choose several movies that you watch – you could pick some specific scenes that represent exactly what you want to attract to your life and immerse yourself in them. Enjoy!
6.) The Pillow Method
“To achieve the impossible dream, try going to sleep.” – Joan Klempner
When you have chosen your perfect, individualized, powerful affirmation, write it on a slip of paper and put it beneath your pillow before going to bed.
It’s a very simple yet effective method for three reasons:
- It ensures that your final thought of the day is a positive one. This means that you will fall asleep in a positive mood, and it will set you up for a good day the following morning.
- When you drift off to sleep, your subconscious comes more to the surface as your conscious mind quietens down. It is, therefore, easier for the new, positive affirmation to replace the former limiting belief that may have been holding you back.
- In this same moment, you also have no resistance or barriers to manifesting, so you go to sleep thinking of what you want to attract without any obstacles getting in the way.
It’s essential to focus on positive thoughts and start and end the day with the right frame of mind. When we are falling asleep or waking up, those periods are at the peak of when we can connect with the Universe, so we must align our energies correctly to manifest the positive things we want.
7.) Create An Appreciation Loop
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” – Albert Einstein
When we appreciate what we have right at that moment, we emit a positive vibration of gratitude.
Every emotion we feel has a different vibrational energy. The more positive the emotion, the higher up the energy scale it comes. As you might imagine, negative emotions such as fear, despair, grief, and powerlessness are at the bottom, but appreciation, joy, and love are at the top of the scale.
So whenever you feel positive and thankful for something, you significantly lift your vibrational frequency. The more elevated it is, the more aligned you become to the things you want to attract.
It’s possible to create an appreciation loop if you regularly practice feeling grateful for the things that you currently have in your life.
It’s called a loop because when you appreciate the good things that you have, the Universe (and Law of Attraction) will present you with more things to be thankful for. This way, you continue to feel grateful and continue to receive more blessings. You live within an amazing cycle of abundance and positivity.
When you are appreciative, you will notice that you attract what you want quicker than ever. More and more positive things will come your way, so your feelings of appreciation will be boosted even higher.
It sounds amazing, doesn’t it?
It can be a bit of a challenge to vibrate on the level of appreciation initially, so it’s important to remember that it’s not what you say but rather how you feel.
Here are some steps you can follow to create your own appreciation loop:
- Start with spending 5-10 minutes thinking about and visualizing the things that you are grateful for.
- When you have between 5-10 things (or people), direct your feelings into them.
- Consider how you feel having these incredible things as part of your life.
- When you have spent a few minutes absorbed in those feelings, it’s time to write down the things you appreciate.
We can do this together. Here’s my list – let’s see if you have anything similar.
- “I appreciate my gorgeous, loyal dog, Sparky (who is waiting for me to take him for a walk).”
- “I’m thankful that I have such a wonderful family who supports me and loves me unconditionally.”
- “I am grateful that I have a lovely home with food to eat and water to drink.”
- “I appreciate you for taking time to read this article and have faith in my words.”
- “I am thankful that I have a job and can pay my bills.”
- “I am so grateful that I am healthy.”
What did you write down? I hope you enjoyed making that list. It definitely made me more conscious of how lucky and blessed I am.
Remember that you can (and should) revisit this list often, adding to it when something else happens that you appreciate. This is how you keep the loop spinning. If you stop feeling grateful for what you have, the cycle could break, and some negativity could sneak in.
The ideal thing would be to challenge yourself to add something new to your list every day. That way, you will focus on looking for things to appreciate, which means you will be more likely to see them! And the more you appreciate, the better your life will become. It’s a win-win situation!
I briefly mentioned it earlier and said I would explain it in more detail.
Scripting is like a longer, diary version of affirmations. You write about what you want to manifest into your life as if you already had it, but you write it as a journal entry. Every day, you write about how your life has been and what you have done in your perfect, fully-manifested world.
The aim of scripting is to evoke positive emotions and raise your vibrational frequency. It’s like writing a script for a movie, and the star of the film is you and your incredible future!
I would recommend that you enter into a flow state before you start scripting. When you’re in flow, ideas and positivity will pour out of you!
There are several ways you could induce a flow state, including:
- Do a short meditation session.
- Do some physical exercise – run, walk or do a workout.
- Put on some inspiring music.
- Read quotes by people who motivate you.
Once you feel raring to go, grab your journal and just write!
Here’s an example of a script that I’ve just put together for manifesting an apartment I want to buy.
“Oh my gosh! I’m so excited! Today is the day that I get my keys to my amazing new apartment!
I woke up so early this morning because I have been waiting for this day for a while now! I can’t believe that it’s finally here!
I got up and had a shower. I had a coffee and a light breakfast because I was too excited to eat! I was too early to go and collect the keys from the realtor, so I spent a couple of hours double-checking that I have packed everything for when the moving company arrives tomorrow and that I had everything I need for my first night there tonight.
At 12 pm, I couldn’t wait any longer, so I called the realtor, and they said they could meet me at the property – my new property – at 1 pm!
I was there by 12:45 pm. I parked my car on the drive and walked across the road to the beach! I was minutes away from having the keys to my brand-new seafront apartment! I felt like I was going to burst with excitement, but at the same time, with the sun on my face and looking at the beautiful clear-blue waves, I felt like I was at home.
When the realtor arrived, they not only had my keys, but they had a large bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne for me! Some of my new neighbors had come out to meet me – I felt like a celebrity!
The realtor let me unlock the door, and we stepped into my new home. I couldn’t hold back the tears anymore. As it was a brand-new build, I’d had the pick of everything. Plus, it was fully furnished, so it was like stepping into an amazing dream. But I could touch everything. And it was all mine.
I signed the paperwork with the realtor, and they went back to their office.
I walked out onto the terrace, once again looking out at the amazing, uninterrupted sea view and the beach that was just down a few steps, and I just said, ‘thank you.’
I sat quietly for a few moments, just taking it all in.
I then did a video call with my family and gave them a tour of my new home, including the guest rooms that they would stay in when they came to visit.
I manifested the apartment that I have always dreamed about. I am writing this journal entry while drinking a glass of champagne and sat listening to the waves crash against the shore.
I am so grateful to the Universe for turning my wishes into reality, and I am thankful that I have the power to make my own dreams come true.”
You can write a script about anything you want to manifest in your life. This is just my example so you can see how to write your own.
Enjoy it and be creative! Just choose something that you feel passionate and excited about and get writing!
9.) Reprogram Your Subconscious
“Your subconscious mind does not argue with you. It accepts what your conscious mind decrees. If you say, “I can’t afford it,” your subconscious mind works to make it true. Select a better thought. Decree, “I’ll buy it. I accept it in my mind.” – Joseph Murphy
Let’s take a closer look at the difference between the conscious and subconscious minds.
- The conscious mind holds the things that we are aware of when we are awake, for example, our thoughts, feelings, and our perception of events as they occur to us.
- The subconscious is more like a filing system. When data goes into the subconscious, it is sorted and stored in a particular manner that tries to make sense of why we do what we do.
The subconscious will develop larger files if things are repeated, and unfortunately, it does not know if something is positive or negative. It just files them along with similar ones. This is why we occasionally develop habits that are damaging to us and is, for example, how limiting beliefs come into existence.
When you want to manifest something, if your subconscious contains previous beliefs that now clash with what you want to attract, this produces resistance and can interfere with your alignment to your goals.
Suppose you say to yourself, “I want to have financial abundance.” Your conscious mind may be fully on board with that thought, but you might have some entrenched beliefs from childhood that are resistant to you becoming rich. For example, your family had some money issues, and your parents were always arguing about money and saying that rich people were selfish and arrogant.
Conflicts between the subconscious and conscious mind are the top reason that people find it difficult to manifest their goals. This is where reprogramming your subconscious comes in.
Subconscious reprogramming is done when you eradicate any outdated thoughts that no longer serve you and, in their place, you put positive affirmations that will give you the mindset you need to manifest.
The easiest way to do this is to use subliminal audio tracks containing messages that only your subconscious mind can hear. The affirmations are within tracks that are relaxing to listen to. They may be designed as tracks that you can listen to while meditating or as you sleep, or some are designed so you can get on with other things – you can even be reprogramming your mind as you work!
The tracks contain soundwaves that put your mind into a state where the subliminal messages can go straight into the subconscious. As I said earlier, your subconscious does not know what is true or false, positive or negative, and will just respond to what it receives. Feeding it with the right type of subliminal messages is a fantastic and effective way to change its original programming.
There are thousands of tracks available, and you can attract anything with them. You do have to be careful that you are listening to tracks made by trusted companies, however, as there are some unsavory characters out there in the internet world. Subliminal messages can and have been used dangerously.
There are some reputable companies, and one that I would recommend is called “Subliminal Guru.” They have more than 350 subliminal audios that you can download.

They are also really clear about what they put in their tracks, so you can read the list of affirmations that your subconscious will hear and can decide if they resonate with you.

10.) The 55×5 Method
“Any idea, plan, or purpose may be placed in the mind through repetition of thought.” – Napoleon Hill
Recently, the 55×5 method has been taking the internet by storm!
It’s a straightforward concept. All you have to do is decide on one thing that you want to manifest. Write a specific affirmation about it and write the affirmation 55 times a day for 5 consecutive days.
As we’ve already seen, our subconscious minds are programmed through repetition, and this is another way of rewiring your subconscious to focus on that goal.
It also causes a change in your vibrational frequency, meaning you manifest what you want even faster.
But why is it 55×5?
Well, it’s based on using the energy that comes from the number 5.
Within numerology, the number 5 relates to significant change, so that is why we use its energy when manifesting.
These are the 55×5 steps;
- Choose a positive affirmation specific to what you want to manifest.
- Use a journal if you have one, or if not, a pen and some paper will be okay.
- In one go, write your chosen affirmation 55 times.
- Do this again for 5 days in a row (55 times each day, all at once)
Sit back and watch your goal manifest!
To decide on your specific goal, take time to brainstorm ideas and pick the one that you are drawn to the most. You must stick with one desire only for this method. If you change your mind, you will reduce your chances of success because the Universe will not know which is your real wish.
You can always choose a new wish once you have manifested the first one, and then you would repeat these same steps for another 5 days.
11.) 2 Cup Method
“The only reality I can possibly know is the world as I perceive it at this moment. The only reality you can possibly know is the world as you see it at this moment. And the only certainty is that those perceived realities are different. There are as many “real worlds” as there are people.” – Carl Rogers
The 2 cup method is a really effective manifestation technique that requires 2 cups or glasses, 2 sticky labels, and some water.
It’s a simple idea: to drink water from the cup that has a label that says what you wish for.
There is a transformation in the Universe when you do this, and it sets to work making your dreams come true. I will explain the exact process you follow just below in my step-by-step guide.
This method combines the following scientific principles.
1.) Water Absorbs Energy
Dr. Masaru Emoto has spent years studying water and, in the 90s, he revealed that water is affected by thoughts and energy frequencies. So, for example, polluted water can be healed and restored if someone prays and directs that energy into the water.
He studied water molecules that were exposed to particular influences and then shock froze them so they could be examined more closely. He even found music significantly affected water molecules, with classical music producing snowflake shapes, but heavy metal music leads to distorted molecules that will make you feel negative when drinking them.
In the same way, saying prayers or positive things such as ‘thank you’ or ‘I love you’ to the water created beautiful shapes in the molecules. As we are made up of 70-90% water, it’s so interesting to think that all of the water in our bodies can be influenced in a good or bad way, depending on our thoughts and intentions.
Whenever you drink the water you have blessed with positive thoughts and energy, you consume and absorb that energy.
2.) Quantum Jumping
Quantum Jumping is a visualization and meditation method that Burt Goldman created.
The theory behind it is that there are multiple universes (it’s also sometimes called Multiverse Theory) that exist simultaneously. These universes are similar, but there is a different version of you within each of them. In each universe, the version of you made a contrasting decision at crucial points, so took a slightly different pat and developed accordingly.
Some of these versions of you may be living the life that you dream of. They may have an amazing house, incredibly successful business, perfect family, fast sports car, or they could even be a Rockstar!
Quantum jumping is when you ‘jump’ into an alternative universe using the power of your mind and see the other versions of you who have the skills and things you want. You can learn from them how to act, what to do, see what your untapped skills are, and see what your future can look like.
When used with the Law of Attraction, quantum jumping into the ‘ideal you’ version helps lift your vibrational frequency. It will help you rewire your subconscious mind because you can trust yourself – whatever version of yourself that is! You can see that your goals are possible, which brings strength to your desire to manifest them.
It’s like when you used to have to tune old TVs into channels. Sometimes you could see a fuzzy picture – you could almost tell which show it was, but you couldn’t see it properly, so you would try different frequencies to tune in to the clearest version of what you wanted to watch.
Why not use the knowledge and skills of your alternative versions to tune your own channel so that it’s perfect?
So, the 2 cup method works with you consuming and absorbing the energy frequency of what you want to manifest at the same time as you quantum jump into your perfect version of yourself.
Does that sound a bit complicated? Don’t worry; it’s a lot of fun and simple to do.
Before you do it, and as an extra tip, you need to begin this method with the right mentality. To ensure you are in the best flow state, you could light candles and burn sage, play some soundwaves or calming music in the background or meditate before you start. Being in the right mindset will make all the difference to your success with this method. Clear your mind of any negativity because it will affect the water.
How to do the 2 Cup Method:
- You need to have:
- Two glasses or cups (of any size or material)
- Drinking water
- Two sticky labels or post-it notes
- A pen
- Take both labels.
- On one, write the specific goal that you want to attract into your life.
- On the other, write how your life is at the moment.
- Stick a label on each of the cups/glasses.
- Pour some water into the cup that has your current status label on it.
- Now carefully transfer the water into the other cup.
- Hold the cup of water and really imagine and visualize yourself having all of the things you have written down.
- Feel gratitude for how that feels and direct all your positive emotions to the water.
- Drink the water from the cup.
Well done! You have just done a quantum jump using the 2 cup method!
12.) Spend Time With The Right People
“Who you spend time with is who you become! Change your life by consciously choosing to surround yourself with people with higher standards!” – Tony Robbins
This is a great piece of advice for people in general, not just when it comes to manifesting.
But it is definitely something that becomes more important if you want to manifest a particular lifestyle.
We all know someone who ‘fell in with the wrong crowd.’ Sometimes we can be totally led by the groups of people that we hang out with, whether that’s because we really want to do what’s suggested or that we struggle to say no in the face of peer pressure.
Most of the time, as adults, we tend to be friends with and surround ourselves with similar people, but we also take on some of their characteristics and absorb their energy. It’s therefore really important to take a look at your circle of friends and check that they raise your vibration rather than try and drag you down.
Do you know people who have the lifestyle that you crave? You need to align yourself with this kind of person and absorb the vibe from them.
Don’t worry; you don’t have to start trying to make friends with total strangers or sending fan mail to celebrities! You don’t even have to meet them in order to align with their vibrational frequency.
With the wonders of the internet, there are so many positive role models sharing their stories and giving advice for free – you can fill your life full of their inspirational messages and energy!
The best places to look are:
- Social media pages
- Online events
They don’t have to be a ‘celebrity’ – lots of people make YouTube videos nowadays, and as long as the person is someone you identify with but who also inspires you, then subscribe to their channel and use them as one of your positive crew.
Where you do have people (friends or family) in your life who do bring you down, I would suggest that you minimize the time you spend with them. The key to manifesting anything is to vibrate on your highest frequency possible as often as possible. If people don’t make you feel good, you have to choose how much time you can spend with them before you feel a dip in your energy levels.
Hopefully, you will inspire them to be more positive – just like you!
13.) The 369 Method
This is a technique that is quite new to me that is not that well-known yet. It’s known as the 369 method and was developed by Karin Yee.
The inspiration and origins of this technique come from the incredible scientist Nikola Tesla. He stated that the numbers three, six, and nine are spiritual numbers and that when we use these numbers, we access the divine power, making our manifestations much stronger and faster.
Tesla studied the geometry of shapes, circles in particular. His theory showed that the digital root is 9 as it has 360 degrees (3+6=9). He realized that it was impossible to divide a circle without resulting in the numbers 3, 6, or 9. He is famously quoted as saying, “If you knew the magnificence of 3, 6, and 9, you would have a key to the universe.”
This method involves writing out your affirmations in a similar way to the 55×5 method.
These are the steps to follow:
- Choose or write an affirmation that clearly lays out what you want to manifest.
- Using a journal or piece of paper, write that same affirmation out 3 times in the morning.
- Wait for a few hours to pass, and then write it down 6 times in the afternoon.
- In the evening, write the same affirmation 9 times before you go to bed.
This gives you the whole circle – 3, 6, 9!
Ideally, you repeat this for between 33 and 45 days. Again, it works on repetition, which leads to the affirmation becoming embedded in the subconscious, replacing older limiting beliefs. I have had some fantastic results with this technique, too – I highly recommend it!
14.) Give Something Back
“Real generosity towards the future lies in giving all to the present.” – Albert Camus
There are lots of different ways that you can give. You can physically give things to people, but you can also give someone support emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Along with making you feel good about yourself, it also lifts your vibrational energy!
There is no limit to the type of people you can help either. It could be friends, family, neighbors, strangers, animals – you can even help the planet!
Some ways to give to other people include:
