Manifesting with gratitude

Successful manifestation and gratitude complement each other like macaroni and cheese or peanut butter and jelly. 


As a matter of fact, gratitude is like a battery that supercharges your manifestation ability and speeds up the process immensely! 

I know what might be going through your mind.  

“Why do I have to be grateful for something if I am creating it myself?”

Perhaps you feel you deserve everything you attract into your life without acknowledging or showing appreciation for anything in the Universe that has helped you. 

“The Law of Attraction is a universal law that exists, and all I’m doing is tapping into it – why do I have to take the time to feel grateful?”

They are understandable points of view. 

But the point of demonstrating and emitting appreciation is not to try and flatter the Universe. Nor is it linked to idolizing a divine power or showing gratitude to benefit anyone else. 


The biggest reason for exhibiting appreciation is linked to boosting your manifestation power and success.

When you convey gratitude to the Universe, you will attract more things to be grateful for. 

The Law of Attraction means that like attracts like. So when you live your life and feel thankful for all of the things you already have, you will manifest more things to appreciate.

Why is it so important to show gratitude?

Being genuinely appreciative of something produces a really deep emotion. 


If you have ever noticed the sensations in your body when you are experiencing appreciation of someone or something, you will have recognized pure happiness. 

You feel like you are bursting with joy, harmony, satisfaction, and pleasure. 

But every now and again, it feels incredible to pause and take some time to focus on what is coming to us rather than what we are emitting.

For the majority of people, when they receive something, it makes them feel fantastic. They are happy, thankful, and feel appreciative for their gift. This is gratitude. 


Every one of us deserves to live an abundant life. You might have some restrictive beliefs and embedded thoughts that hold you back from this, but the Universe will provide everything you desire. 

Rather than having to receive something to appreciate, you can open your eyes to all the things you already have that you can be grateful for. 

Many of us have so many things in our lives that others would love to have. And we are so used to them that we no longer see them as luxuries or anything to be thankful for. For example, clean, running water, electricity, the internet, a home, etc.

It is possible to attract abundance simply by being thankful every day for the small things. This consistent gratitude will turn you into a magnet for a rich, full life.  

An attitude of gratitude increases abundance and diminishes fear.

Let’s take a closer look.

As humans, we send messages to the Universe in three different ways: through our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. 

When we can align these messages with what we want to attract, this is when we fast-track our ability to manifest.

Everything on this planet is made from energy and vibrates at a certain frequency level.

If we feel grateful and appreciative, our vibrational frequency lifts. In fact, when we emit gratitude, this is thought to take us to the peak of our positive energy transmission into the Universe. 

Why is this the case?

Consider being grateful as if it were a slogan or motto. What is the message that it gives to the Universe when you emit it? 

You may be thinking of words like happiness, fulfillment, enthusiasm, etc., but they are not the most powerful influence that comes from gratitude. 

The single most important thing that makes gratitude such a vibrational frequency booster is very simple. 

It is completely focused on the present moment. 

We only feel thankful when we are living in the now and looking at what we have. 

Of course, we might appreciate something that happened in the past or be thankful that something is coming in the future, but the emotion comes at the moment. You are experiencing it at that very second, not in the past or the future. 

The core of gratitude is ‘now.’

When you emit feelings of gratitude, you are sending a message such as:

Let me share an example with you. 

Suppose you want to manifest a wonderful, romantic relationship in your future, and you are emitting positive, exciting emotions – that will be what you attract. 

But who knows when it might happen? The future could be tomorrow, or it could be in five years! 

 
However, if you can switch to a current feeling of gratitude for the amazing, loving relationship, this is a significantly more powerful state, even if it hasn’t happened yet.


It’s possible to feel thankful for something before it exists in your life. It’s tapping into the world of fantasy as we did as children. We could imagine anything when we played. We could be whoever we wanted to be and have anything we desired. And it felt so real! 

So let’s get back to that state of mind. 

When you emit overwhelming gratitude for something you desire, the Universe responds by matching your energy. This means that you will attract exactly what it is you want.

In the above example, when you feel thankful for a wonderful, loving relationship, that is what you will get, making you feel even more appreciative. 

Like attracts like, so make sure you’re emitting at the highest level!

How can i feel grateful for something i haven’t got?

I have to be honest with you and say that it can be a challenge to manifest with gratitude. 

It often requires having to do as I mentioned above and tap into the world of fantasy and make-believe. You need to conjure up strong feelings of gratitude while you are waiting for your wishes to come true. 

Many people claim that this is a simple process. You will see Law of Attraction ‘experts’ in online forums or blogs saying that all you need to do is say, “I am grateful for…” and you add whatever you want to attract. 

This will never work. Gratitude is not a sentence that you can repeat over and over. It is not just something that you can say or think as words are not enough. 

Genuine gratitude is a feeling and an emotion that comes from deep inside us. 

For some people, it’s easy to tap into that emotion, but other people find it much more challenging. 

Here is a three-step process to boosting and emitting gratitude when you are waiting for your manifestations to come into your reality. 


1.) Practice Mindfulness

Start by letting everything drift from your mind and turn your attention to your breathing.
Concentrate on breathing slowly in and out. 

After a few slow breaths, move your focus to your body. Pay attention to how your body is at this precise moment. Do you have any tension in any of your muscles? What sounds can you hear? What sensations do you feel, such as your body against the chair or bed? What can you smell?  What can you see?

Spend a few minutes being totally alert and mindful in the present moment. 


2.) Observe and give thanks

Whenever you observe something during this process, mentally give thanks to the Universe for it. 

For example, step 1 started by concentrating on your breathing. You may think something along the lines of, “I am so thankful that I have clean air to breathe. My body works amazingly and breathes effortlessly to keep me alive.” 

You can then turn your attention to your environment. Perhaps you may think:

“I am grateful to have a large, comfy sofa to sit and relax on.”

“I thank the Universe that I can look out of my window and see a beautiful blue sky.”

“I appreciate the sound of the birds singing in the trees and feeling the breeze blowing into my room.”

“The barking dogs remind me that I live in an area with a lot of life, nature, and energy.”

“I am thankful for everything I have, and I recognize that I am very lucky.”


3.) Direct your attention internally

Keep paying attention, and you will notice that you feel something happening inside you. 


It may feel like your heart swells in your chest, or it could be more of an excited feeling in the pit of your stomach. 

Whatever the internal feeling you experience – this is gratitude at its finest!

When you have produced that sensation, turn your thoughts to whatever it is that you want to manifest.

Imagine your desires, which may include the following:

  • The type of life that you want.
  • Your ideal car.
  • Your perfect relationship. 
  • How much money you want.


Maintain your visualization and focus on what you want to manifest while you have those sensations of gratitude. 

Then, when you are ready, let those thoughts and your energy float off into the Universe. 

You have done your part, and now you can relax and let the Universe do the rest.

Spirituality and science have become much closer over recent years. Scientists have started to investigate spiritual practices and are continually discovering amazing evidence. One of their biggest breakthroughs is identifying a significant biological advantage that comes with living a life full of gratitude. 

“What is the big mystery?” I hear you ask.

Well, aside from gratitude speeding up how quickly we attract our desires, it can help us live longer!

Yes, you read that correctly! 

Scientists are finding evidence proving that people who live their lives feeling grateful live longer.

That sounds amazing, doesn’t it? 

Ok, let me explain a bit more about the science behind this claim. 

It’s all connected with our DNA. 

We have DNA at the end of all of our chromosomes, and when our cells split, this DNA can’t be reproduced. 

With time, our chromosomes wear out, and this can result in cell damage. Consequences of this can be illness, premature aging, and even cancer. 

This is where telomeres come in. Telomeres are found at the end of each chromosome. Think about them like the plastic ends on your shoelaces. 

In essence, they are like little shields that surrender themselves to defend our DNA. 

Telomeres don’t contain any of our genetics, in contrast to the remainder of the chromosome. This means that if they are damaged, we don’t experience any major health problems. 

So how does this link to gratitude?  


Scientific research is proving that it’s possible to elongate our telomeres, which leads to us being able to live longer! 


As reported by cellular biologist Dr. Bruce Lipton, we can engage in several activities that will result in longer telomeres. 

The most significant one is to feel gratitude. 


When we feel thankful for something, an enzyme called telomerase is triggered inside the cell. 

Telomerase connects with the telomeres and makes them longer. This means that they provide more of a protective barrier for us against illness and premature aging, so therefore, they elongate our lives. 

So, the telomeres that we each have at the end of the chromosomes will change length according to how someone lives their life. They will get longer if a person is joyful and appreciative of their time on the planet, and they will shorten and wear away if someone has negative emotions. 

When you feel grateful, your cells receive the communication that you love your life and time on this planet. This emotion will trigger the release of the telomerase enzyme, and your telomeres will become longer, meaning you get to stay here for more time. 


How to experience more gratitude daily

Here is a list of a few simple things you can do if you want to supercharge your manifestation routine and live longer. 

  • Keep a gratitude journal and write in it each day. 
  • Pick three things that you are thankful for each morning. 
  • Say ‘thank you’ more – even if you are alone. 
  • Connect with nature by going for a walk and allowing yourself time to calm your thoughts. 
  • Focus your attention on the ‘now’ and appreciate what you have around you.
  • Look for the positives and lessons that come from any challenging situation. 

To summarize 

As I said way back at the beginning of this article, manifestation and gratitude are like two peas in a pod. 

Being grateful speeds up your manifestation ability, and that makes you experience more appreciation. And so on, and so on. It becomes an amazing, positive cycle that works faster and faster when you are in it.

When you emit gratitude, your vibrational frequency aligns with what you want to attract, so you become like a magnet for your desires. 

Ensure you create some time in your manifestation routine to be grateful for what you have. 

It doesn’t have to be a long time, but if you spend a few minutes each day, you will reap the rewards. 

When we focus on our gratitude, the tide of disappointment goes out, and the tide of love rushes in.
