7 Ways to lift your vibrational frequency

Lifting your vibrational frequency is vital when it comes to using the Law of Attraction to manifest things into your life. 

If your energy vibration is low, you will find it really difficult to align with what you want. If you are unaligned, then you will end up attracting the opposite of what you desire.

Vibrating with low-level energy will manifest negative things such as worry, stress, depression, etc. The opposite of what you want to have in your life! 

So how is it possible to change your vibrational frequency so you can attract the things you do want?

Well, I’m going to tell you about seven different things you can do, but first of all, let me explain what I mean when I talk about having a vibrational frequency. 

Everything that exists in the universe (including us) is formed of atoms. Atoms are essentially made of almost 100% energy with a little part of matter. 

It might sound weird and wonderful, but actually, it’s science. Back in 400BC, the Greek philosopher Democritus hypothesized the existence of atoms, but it wasn’t until the late 1800s that J. J. Thompson, an English physician, developed a model for the atom.

Everything made of atoms has a vibration because of the energy it is made from. Nothing is totally still, even if it appears so to the naked human eye. 

And everything vibrates at a different frequency. For example, I have my frequency, and you have yours. Our frequency depends on many things, including our emotions, how we think about things and what we do. 

When we lift our vibrational frequency, we change our energy. We strengthen our link to our higher self and the Universe because their energies vibrate on a much higher level. As we get closer to their level, we become more positive and attract positive things into our lives. 

The higher your vibration lifts, the more incredible you will feel. Everything will become better – you will be happier, feel more at peace with yourself, and your life will become balanced. 

If you’re not totally aware of the Law of Attraction and how it works, let me give you a really quick synopsis. The Law of Attraction says that you manifest or attract things into your life with the notion that ‘like attracts like.’ 

So it’s not about what you want to have in your life; it’s about who you are and what you do. This is what you will attract more of.

When you lift your vibrational frequency, you feel better. Instead of focusing on lack of money, worry about relationships, etc., you feel happy, grateful, full of energy, and satisfied with your life. 

The Law of Attraction will respond to this and send you more situations and events that give you more reasons to experience those positive emotions!

Here are a few of the things you may notice as your vibration starts to lift:

  • You may feel more creative and inspired, generating lots of ideas.
  • You feel more certain about what you want from life.
  • You notice regular signs and synchronicities that the Universe presents to you, for example, duplicate numbers such as always noticing the clock when it is 11:11. 
  • You feel calmer, more tranquil, and happier about things.
  • You have occasions where you feel such a strong sensation of love and appreciation.
  • You find it easy to manifest things into your life. 
  • You are finding more and more spiritual talents as you are tuned in to a different energy level.
  • It becomes easier to know what actions to take to achieve your goals, and everything runs smoothly.

You can see that some excellent rewards come when you lift your vibrational frequency. 

Before we get into how you do it, I just want to say one more thing. 

It’s fantastic that you want to lift your vibrational frequency to a higher level, but I would caution you not to pressure yourself to be vibrating that way constantly. 

Unfortunately, sometimes things happen to us that do knock us down a bit, and that’s ok. You don’t need to worry that if you have a bad day and feel a bit down, it’ll totally destroy your previous efforts. 

It’s human to experience a spectrum of emotions, and sometimes we have to go through the bad patches to appreciate the good ones.

When we have bad experiences, this gives us a new opportunity to review what is happening and reset our route so that our destination is much more positive. 

The key to being successful is that your overall vibrational frequency is high and positive. If you need time, take time out of that, but ensure you get back on track when you can, or you will begin to attract more negative things. 

Ok, now that I’ve said all that, let’s move straight into seven ways you can lift your vibrational frequency! 


Take time out of social media

Are you a bit of a social media addict? Do you spend more time scrolling through it than you would like because you get drawn into all the stories and drama? 

I have to admit that I used to have a big problem with this! 

But the thing is, if we spend too much time on social media, it can really affect our vibrational frequency – and I don’t mean in a good way!

There are lots of negative emotions that can pop up when we overuse social media, including envy, depression, feeling inadequate or lonely. The grass always looks greener because people have control over what they share, so they’re usually going to be sharing the best of their lives. If we’re feeling a bit dissatisfied, this just reinforces it. 

When we have negative thoughts and emotions, our vibration sinks. 

If you have noticed that your mood is affected by social media, taking time out is the ideal solution! I guarantee that it will help you to lift your vibes sky-high.

I would suggest that you take a break of 7 days with no social media! Yes, I know that might seem like a daunting task, particularly if you usually use social media platforms to connect with your family and friends. 

But honestly, it is going to be so worth it! I promise! 

To help you do this as easily as possible, here are some tips:

  • Tell the people who you usually communicate with via social media that you’re going to take some time off the apps. 
  • Download an app that will block social media on your laptop or PC.
  • Deactivate your social media accounts so that you don’t receive notifications. (It’s straightforward to re-active them when you want to go back on.)
  • Remove the social media apps from your phone and any other device you use them on. 
  • Find alternative things to do to keep occupied, for example, read the books you’ve been meaning to read, go for nature walks, practice meditation, etc.

When you have completed your time out from social media, note how much your vibration has changed. 

Notice the feelings of gratitude and tranquility you now feel, which have come from your strengthened connection to your higher power. Having this time off means you have been able to rebuild your energies because they haven’t been drained by social media. 

You will be amazed at the difference you can feel within just a week. You may even want to do it for longer or change the way you use social media in the future. 


It’s possible to totally change your life through regular meditation!

Studies have shown that meditation can decrease stress, worry, tension, and low mood. It can even lead to improvements in general health. 

Meditation aids you in elevating your level of consciousness. You become more aware of yourself and see things much clearer. 

Generally, being in a meditative trance means that the body, mind, and spirit vibrate at a much higher frequency than normal. Abraham Hicks describes this state as the ‘State of Allowing’ as it’s when you become open to receiving insights and information from the Universe and your higher self. This is when you become like a magnet and start attracting your desires to you. 

When you meditate, you let down the barriers in your mind that block things out, so the subconscious is open to receiving messages and impulses. 

It can be a bit tricky to get into a high vibrational frequency trance when you first start meditating, but it will become much easier with time. 

If you’re not sure how to do it, here are the steps to lift your vibrational frequency through meditation:

  • Choose a quiet, comfortable place where you can sit and won’t be disturbed.  
  • Shut your eyes.
  • Concentrate on your breathing.
  • Breathe in and out deeply, letting your mind and body relax.
  • If anything comes into your mind, allow them to fleeting pass through and let them drift off again.
  • Focus your concentration back on your deep breathing.
  • Over time, your body will feel like it is going to sleep while your mind is still alert yet relaxed. 
  • Continue for as long as you have time, enjoying the relaxing experience.

Meditation is about freeing your mind from its usual barrage of thoughts. In the beginning, this might be quite a challenge, but remember that you don’t have to do it perfectly each time. It’s a new technique that you are trying out, so you will become better at it with time, and you will find it easier to get into a meditative state. 

3). Appreciate everything

Having an ‘attitude of gratitude’ puts you into one of the most elevated states of vibrational frequency possible! 

If you are determined to elevate your state of consciousness, one of the fastest and most powerful ways of doing it is to feel grateful. 

The best way to do it instantly is to make a list of all the things you appreciate in your life as of today. It can be absolutely anything that you are grateful for: your car, job, partner, friends, family, dog, next-door neighbor, laptop, mobile phone, internet provider… anything!

If you can’t think of anything, you can start even closer to home and begin with being grateful for yourself! 

After all, you’ve managed to overcome so many things in your lifetime, but you’re still standing and fighting to live your best life each day! And you’re now reading this, which means you’re dedicated to developing yourself and making your life even better through elevating your vibration. It’s not everyone who has that much passion and dedication. You should definitely be proud of that and appreciate yourself for it. 

That gives you somewhere to start your list. Put yourself at the top and write down all of the amazing things that you are grateful for about yourself. 

Even just writing this list about yourself will raise your vibration, which will penetrate into the Universe, bringing you more things to be grateful for. 

4).Spend time with positive people

“Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you, spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life.” – Amy Poehler. 

Smiling and being positive is infectious! 

If you can immerse yourself in a group of people who live life positively, always being optimistic and grateful for what they have, this energy will rub off on you too. You will find it difficult to be anything but positive when surrounded by people vibrating with high frequencies.

I know that sometimes this can be difficult, as our family or current circle of friends may not be the most positive group of people. We all know those people who seem to thrive when they have something to complain about and never seem to be happy with anything. It can be draining, and we can feel ourselves getting sucked into that negativity. We can feel our positive vibrations seeping away as we spend more time with them.

In my experience, when I began to dedicate more of my time to developing myself and exploring my spirituality, I noticed that a few of my so-called friends were remarkably negative about it. Some were even rude and obstructive. 

When it first happened, I was really upset, and this affected my vibrational frequency. It was all I could think about for a while, and I felt really down about it. But through doing more spirituality research, I realized that they weren’t the kind of people I needed in my life anymore, so I distanced myself from them. This made me feel much more positive about things, and the interesting thing was that they didn’t resist, so I’m sure they also realized that our relationship had changed. 

I also discovered how to defend my own vibrations so that even when people were negative around me, it didn’t affect me. After all, I didn’t want to have to turn my back on some members of my family. It’s important to be able to deal with negative people, even if it means you perhaps don’t spend as much time engaging in negative conversations with them as you used to.  

Over time, I attracted some amazing new friends into my world who were all vibrating on really high frequencies and were totally supportive of my growth journey as they were all doing similar things. 

Connecting with and being around people who build you up rather than pull you down is essential for sustaining a high-frequency vibration.

Suppose it’s difficult for you to meet these types of people due to where you live or other constraints; don’t worry! You don’t have to meet up with them or even get to know them in person. 

There are loads of videos, podcasts, or articles you can read on the internet by some incredible people. You can find them on YouTube, in forums, buy their books, download podcasts or read blogs. The amount of inspirational information available on the internet is astounding!

5). Spring clean your surroundings 

Another quick way to raise your vibrational frequency is to tidy up and organize your surroundings. 

When I say your surroundings, this could be your bedroom, living room, office, car: anywhere you spend a lot of time, and that would benefit with a bit of a spring clean. For example, as I spend a lot of time in my home office, whenever I feel like my vibrations are dropping, I spend a bit of time tidying everything up and making sure that I’m organized, as it makes me feel more productive. 

I know that cleaning isn’t the most exciting way to spend your time, but I promise that you will feel great once it’s done. 

Take a few moments to have a look around your environment. Are there a few pending things that you keep putting off? Are there some changes that you’ve been wanting to make for a while but haven’t got round to doing them yet?

Maybe you want to rearrange the furniture in your living room. Or perhaps have a cleaning blitz in the kitchen and empty all of the kitchen cupboards. 

Whatever it is, go for it! 

You can encourage your vibrational frequency to lift even higher by playing music as you reorganize, and you can also burn sage to get rid of any negative energies. 

When you lift the energy of your environment, your energy will lift with it! 

6). Make more use of essential oils:

The use of essential oils has existed for hundreds of years due to their therapeutic properties, but over recent years, studies have proved that the oils vibrate at a really high frequency.

Let me explain this in a bit more detail. As a comparison of vibrational frequencies, a healthy person has a frequency range of from 62 to 72 MHz. Essential oils that are high-quality and graded for use in therapies have an average frequency of around 80 MHz going up to pure rose oil, which is the highest at 320 MHz!!

So, as you can see, if you’re looking for a fast vibrational boost, using essential oils is perfect! 

They are also really easy to use – you can apply them to your skin in creams or natural balms, you can put a few drops in your bath water as you bathe, you can put them in a diffuser or burn them in an oil burner. 

All essential oils are different, with their own vibrational frequency and rejuvenating characteristics. 

These are my four favorites and the ones that I regularly use to lift my frequency. 

Rose oil

Vibrational frequency: 320 MHz

Starting with the highest vibration, rose essential oil is really popular in the makeup sector because it can enhance radiant skin.

Rose oil is also linked to stress reduction and alleviation of anxiety, encouraging a more balanced disposition. 

The thing that I love most about rose oil is its gorgeous floral fragrance. 

I tend to add a few drops to my bath if I plan to write in my scripting journal. I notice that it lifts my vibrational frequency, and it relaxes me, making it easier to do meditation and set my manifestation goals for the following day. 

Frankincense oil

Vibrational frequency: 147 MHz

Frankincense is a slightly spicy fragrance.
It has been used for thousands of years. It is reported that the Ancient Romans, Israelites, Greeks, and Egyptians used frankincense for medical reasons and religious and spiritual practices. 

In today’s society, people tend to use frankincense to aid spiritual well-being, enhance enlightenment and help relaxation. 

I would recommend using frankincense during your meditation sessions to further open the communication channel with your higher self. You will notice that your vibrational frequency shifts quite dramatically. 

Lavender oil

Vibrational frequency: 118 MHz
Lavender oil is probably the most commonly used essential oil on the market. 

With just a quick inhale of the lavender fragrance, it can lower feelings of stress and calm the body, mind, and spirit. If you feel restless or nervous, lavender has excellent calming properties. 

It is also really effective at soothing if you have itchy skin or have been burned or bitten by insects. 

It is a high-frequency oil with a vibration of 118 MHz, and it is much cheaper than buying rose oil.

If you are new to using essential oils, lavender is a really versatile one to get started with.

Bergamot oil

Vibrational frequency: 105 MHz

Bergamot is a citrus fruit, and its essential oil induces a positive, inspirational feeling in your emotions and spiritual well-being. 

It is great for reducing tension, and when you use it regularly, it will always leave your surroundings smelling clean and pure. 

I’m sure you will love Bergamot if you’ve never tried it. It’s probably my favorite oil because I love citrus fragrances. They always make me think of summer, sunshine, and happiness. How about you? 

7). Perfect your positive affirmations

Positive affirmations are sentences that you repeat over and over to retrain your subconscious to think more positively. They are used to displace your old beliefs that didn’t serve you very well because they were negative and limiting. These new affirmations become your new self-talk and help you keep your vibrational frequency elevated. 

To write the perfect affirmations, they have to be very specific to you and worded as if you have everything you want. The affirmations have to be said in the present tense, and you need to always refer to yourself in the first person. 

No matter what you want to manifest, write your affirmation mantras as if you already have those things.

Here are some that you can use or as a base to create your own:

  • “I always feel positive and full of joy.”
  • “My energy is always vibrating on a high frequency.”
  • “I always vibrate with high energy.”
  • “My energy draws more high-energy situations to me.”
  • “I feel full of positivity every day.”

These affirmations can be said whenever you feel like you need to boost your vibrational frequency. Ideally, you would say them out loud, but you can repeat them in your mind if you’re not somewhere where you can say them. Alternatively, you could record yourself saying them as a voice note on your phone and then listen to them on repeat whenever you need an energy lift!

So there you have it! I thoroughly recommend these seven ways if you want to lift your vibrational frequency to attract more positivity and joy into your life! You can choose your favorite, or you can try all seven to really speed up the process! Good luck!
